Ok! Here it is some simple solutions to your health or overweight condition. You no doubt have been eating and filling up on foods that cause problems. Also maybe you have a medical history of years of foods that cause problems. Now you want to get rid of your eating habits. This is the real life experience of one individual.

This man loves fried chicken and those “seasoned fries” not to mention eaten with many soft drinks. These so called foods are so readily available behind closed doors of fast foods. Well after years of savoring the fast food delicacies he developed many serious health problems. High blood pressure levels. High cholesterol count. Early signs of diabetes. Then to finish it off Thyroid inflammation. Things were harmful to this 40 year old man who was not overweight. This man also had a working job where he was physically active every day.

Aha! What was his problem? We can see here that you don’t need to be overweight to experience health problems occurring from fast foods. Actually this is a misnomer to call fast foods, food. What fast foods do is fill the stomach. What about the caliber of the so called food in being able to feed the body nourishment? Aha! This is the crux of the problem - quality nourishing food for the body. OK let’s be honest fast food is built to taste good but it’s unhealthy for your body.

On a TV interview a fast food executive explained why they cannot take the fat and salt out of their fast foods. He said “If we took out the fat and salt in our foods we would be bankrupt.”

Hey doesn’t that tell you something? When I was growing up there were no fast food outlets. McDonald, Burger King, etc. etc. did not exist. There were no drives up take out windows. There were diners making it possible to get breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals. The meals were cooked at that moment. Yes the days are different today. People ate primarily acquainted with the “home cooked meal”. Families ate breakfast and dinner at home together. Wow! By-gone are those days. Those days are lessening and dwindling in our fast food and fast moving lives today.

Here’s what I recommended for the man mentioned above. No more fried chicken, seasoned fries and soft drinks.

Every day for breakfast get out the food blender and follow this recipe. Wash three apples. Remove the stem and bottom. Cut into sections place in the blender.

They call it Karoshi in Japan: death by overwork. But even in Japan, most people don’t quite die from working too much - they just get sick and suffer. And suffering, year in year out, could be a prescription for career disaster…

We get stressed when we work too much or under bad circumstances, and it’s not news to anyone that such stress can make us sick. But there’s a wrinkle that flies under the radar in the stress and health discussion: Although an excessively stressful career make us sick, but once we get sick, our lower energy levels affect the quality and quantity of the work we can do, and ultimately, our impaired performance can in turn ruin our careers.

Excess stress every day is something that’s unfortunately very common for a lot of people. And for all too many, it has already resulted in mixture health problems, ranging from the merely annoying, embarrassing, and slightly painful, such as cold sores, acne, neck pain, headaches, and hair loss, all the way up to obesity, heart attacks, and even death.

Sometimes things can get so bad, that Karoshi may seem like a merciful way out. But let’s pinpoint the kinds of health consequences that result from stress that doesn’t quite kill you and on the impact they can have on your career in turn. If the stress is ongoing, and it usually is, you may well end up suffering for years, alive but not so well.

We know that when the body experiences stress, it releases adrenalin and cortisol in our primitive fight-or-flight response. These important hormones help increase the oxygen level in the blood and boost the sugar in the blood - preparing us to either flee or fight.

That reaction was useful in an era where fighting or fleeing would have been considered reasonable options. If a boss is yelling at you, neither bonking him on the neither kisser nor running away screaming qualifies as appropriate behavior. Instead, there you are, a sitting duck, flooded with stress hormones that have no place to go and serve no purpose except wreak havoc on your well-being.

What havoc? For example, the immune system is suppressed or damaged, which compromises your body’s ability to resist infection. So you’re the first one to catch the office cold and the last to recover from it. And then there are numerous of chronic health conditions are either caused or made worse by stress, including high blood pressure levels, high blood sugar, migraine headaches, and heart disease. Some research suggests that stress can even cause cancer - or push the body over that critical hurdle where our immune system is just no longer strong enough to fight it off.

In addition there are slightly less obvious conditions, less obvious at least to the outside observer: depression, fibromyalgia, insomnia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and adrenal burnout.

They all have in common that they’ll sap your energy and make it very difficult to get much work done. Come performance review, you’ll have some explaining to do. And if anything, that will make your stress-levels even worse.

Can you see where this is heading? Stress may hurt your body, but it will hurt your career unless you manage to get over it. Ratcheting down your stress threshold is required to be a top priority, because it will not only cost you your health but your job as well. And then, what will you do for health insurance?

Many safeguards have been instituted to stop its spread but it continues. And now a new ID theft has surfaced which presents worse problems. Medical identity theft, the new id theft problem is growing at an alarming rate. Daily 1000’s of accounts of privacy, health and finances improprieties, due to medical identity theft, are reported.

Medical identity theft can create life-threatening problem, especially for senior citizens. For that reason, local and federal law makers are considering drafting legislation which will make the criminal punishment for medical id theft far more harsh than current id theft laws. New proposed laws will go beyond just slapping hands and firing employees. New laws are to include significant fines and sentencing the guilty party to substantial jail time. It is very important announce medical id theft won’t be tolerated with a stricter message to deter this kind of crime.

Like standard id theft, medical identity thieves steal the victims name, insurance information, and Sn and employ it without its real owner’s knowledge. Their lack of knowledge of this fraud also make them more susceptible to the deceptive persuasion used to obtain their personal information.

A recent Medicare phone scam conducted in several states targeted elderly consumers by pressuring them to divulge personal details on the pretext they were being issued new Medicare cards. An official sounding organization calls on the phone saying they are updating the victims Medicare data information prior to issuing the new card.

One Medicare scheme, reported in the New York Daily News, involved a 72-year-old woman from Grahams ville, NY. She learned she had become the victim of medical ID theft when she began receiving strange insurance bills. The paperwork showed Medicare had been billed, in her name, for a pregnancy test, a prostate exam, semen analysis, and other medical services she had not had performed. Bureaucratic hurdles prevented her from stopping the fraud, despite that she repeatedly called Medicare to alert the agency. Towards the end of her three-year ordeal with Medicare, the total fraud in her name amounted to close to $50,000.

Consumers most be vigilant to prevent medical ID theft, both proactively and re actively. All information, including medical insurance information, Social Security information, dates of birth and PIN numbers should be treated equally valuable and never shared unless you are thoroughly familiar with the source you are giving it to. It’s essential that you check your medical benefits statements as diligently as you do your credit card statements. Also be aware you have the authority to request an annual disclosure record from their insurer and do so. Medical id theft is growing. In the wrong hands, this information has the potential to endanger not only your finances, but your health.

However the problem comes when you let foods like chocolate become a habit instead of a treat.

Sweets and chocolates should be something you have as an odd treat they should not be part of your daily life. Chocolates are not a health food and should not be part of your diet. Even the 70% cocoa chocolates are not good for you. While they may contain less sugars they still contain saturated fats. And remember if you feel like some chocolate then there are now healthier options where manufacturers have combined chocolate with cereals.

Remember it is not about depriving yourself it is about building good eating habits and avoiding bad ones.
