Tonalin CLA supplements are getting some very positive support from a number of respectable resources. Like many, I struggle with an extra 15 pounds. I really require some sort of outside help to get me motivated. In the event that Tonalin CLA doesn’t work out for me then very little is lost. The CLA group lost weight in the weeks leading up to the holidays and didn’t gain any weight over the holidays. The placebo group gained a bit of weight leading up to the holidays and then gained weight even more rapidly over the holidays.

Impressed by what they heard out of Canada, a group of researchers from the University of Wisconsin tried to repeat the Canadian results and were entirely successful. The American study used forty overweight adults and they studied them for six months including the 8 weeks used in the Canadian study. The participants in the American study also claimed to have lost fat from their belly region when they took daily a CLA pill. The cardiovascular experts were delighted with this extra result as belly fat can lead to heart disease which is a deadly threat to their patients.

Both the Canadian and American studies made sure that that all of the participating subjects consumed approximately the same amount of calories per day. Furthermore, all of the subjects had the same amount of daily exercise. By controlling for diet and exercise, the research teams could make certain that it was the CLA pill that was the catalyst for any changes.

I tend to look at the authors of research publications when deciding if the research is credible. In this case professionals at two respectable North American Universities conducted the studies. This means a lot to me. I am going to start taking Tonalin CLA and continue with my regular diet and exercise.

The researchers found that the group that took the CLA supplement lost weight prior to the Christmas holiday season and maintained their weight over the holidays.

During the pre-holiday period the group taking the CLA supplements lost weight while the control group gained a total of 1.5 pounds of fat mass. Not surprisingly both the CLA group and the placebo group exercised less over Christmas. However, even with less exercise, the CLA supplement group reduced their total body fat mass. Over the period of study period, the CLA group lost a total of 2.2 pounds of fat. As an added bonus, the subjects who took the CLA supplement found that there was a noticeable belly fat loss. Losing belly fat is a really great health benefit as it is belly fat that increases the risk of developing heart disease.

Tonalin CLA is the only patented and clinically proven form of CLA that the majority of research studies have been done with. There are different types of CLA supplements. Research studies that mixed the two most common forms together showed the greatest promise of measurable weight loss.
