Here are 15 plateau breaking tips that are very effective when used during Phase 2 of the hCG diet protocol. By following these tips you should be able to jump start your diet and achieve your weight loss goals. When following any low calorie or very low calorie diet, you should always consult with a qualified physician.
Increase your fluid intake to 2-3 quarts or 8 to 12 eight-ounce bottles of water per day. Additional fluids will assist in promoting adequate digestion, help prevent constipation and may help to flush out toxins and fat.
Make sure that you are eating enough calories daily. Avoid starvation mode by consuming at least 550 calories a day, when in starvation mode your body will store fat. Increase your daily protein intake by a half ounce.
In order to eliminate the body of excess fluids, reduce your fluid intake by 1 quart and consume 6 apples throughout the day. Most patients will lose up to 2 pounds the following day. This method is called the “apple day” and is not recommended on a regular basis.
It is not recommended to eat more than 1-2 servings of red meeting per week. Red meat has been known to slow down the digestion process.
You should not use table salt or other seasoning products that contain any salt other than Sea salt when on the hCG diet. If you are having difficulty finding seasonings that contain Sea salt, make your own. Try combining onion or garlic powder with Sea salt to create an hCG diet friendly seasoning.
With each meal do not eat more than one type of vegetable.
Cut out the allowable carbohydrate snacks such as Grissini bread sticks, Melba toast and Wasa crackers.
Do not eat the same protein, vegetable or fruit more than one time in the same day.
You should not be consuming any protein that contains flavor enhancers or antibiotics, so make sure your protein sources are free of them.
Canned food products may contain flavor enhancers and preservatives which can potentially slow down weight loss.
You can try the “steak day” method whereas you drink as much liquid as possible throughout the day and then have a large steak for dinner. You may have one apple and a tomato with your steak. It is not recommended to follow the “steak day” method more than twice in a 6 week course. It is possible to lose as much as two pounds the following day.
If you are not having regular bowel movements, a fiber supplement is highly recommended to be taken daily. It is possible to hold 5 or more pounds of stool in the colon. High protein diets most often will cause constipation. If you have discomfort, an over the counter laxative should be taken only as needed. If you have not had a bowel movement in 5 days or longer, please contact your doctor’s office for further instruction.
Apple Cider Vinegar has been found to have similar fat releasing properties to that of grapefruit. That makes Raw Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar one of the best condiments you are allowed to use on the hCG diet. If you dislike the taste, you can use Apple Cider Vinegar capsules which can be found in most health food shops.
When on the hCG diet intense exercise is not necessary. If you are performing resistance training you are building lean muscle mass which weighs more than fat. This weight differential can affect your weight loss results based on scale readings. Instead of resistance training you may want to consider only walking on a treadmill for 30 minutes daily. Resistance training is advised during Phases 3 and 4 of the hCG diet.
Get enough sleep. Many patients have reported that not enough sleep has reflected little or no weight loss on the following day.
By following any number of these tips you should be back on your way to achieving your hCG diet weight loss goals. Just remember that these plateau breaking tips are most effective when used in conjunction with Phase 2 of the hCG diet protocol.

If you found a diet plan that would really make you loose weight and keep it off, would you try it?
The breakthrough diet plan quickly, safely and effectively helps you shed pounds and lose inches. It’s the revolutionary new product everyone is talking about because…it works!
Lose fat, not muscle and eat four times a day. No exercise is required. It’s the perfect diet plan.
There is a severe weight control problem in America. Over 65% of the population is overweight or obese. The problem has been ignored too long. We can put a man on the moon but cannot find an effective and safe cure for weight issues? Finally, there is a solution and it’s about time.
HCG is the chemical found in pregnant women. It causes stored fat to be released to ensure the growing fetus will be nourished and develop properly. HCG taken by non-pregnant women and even men causes the body to release the fat but since there is no fetus, eliminates what is not used in energy. Fat is therefore lost in even the most stubborn areas such as thighs, hips, buttocks and the upper arms.
There are two forms of HCG on the market today. One requires a doctor’s prescription and is injected into the muscle. The second form is taken under the tongue (called a subliminal). The second kind is homeopathic and is made from the actual urine of a pregnant woman so it is all natural and it is FDA approved as well.
The HCG diet is fool proof. If you ingest it, you will loose weight. How much weight you lose can vary but on average, most lose 1-2 pounds per day.
While on the HCG diet, it is recommended that a person have a 500 calorie intake. This is possible very comfortably as the chemical causes appetite suppression and does so without the common side effects of head ache, fatigue and hunger pains.
It is very common for those taking HCG to have more energy and feel better all the way around with increased alertness and a general feeling of well being. HCG obviously takes away pounds but adds to your all around health.
No known serious side effects exist but it is a good idea, as with any diet program, to consult your physician before beginning the diet. Don’t take HCG if you are pregnant or nursing.
Although you do not have to exercise on the diet plan, it is a good idea in moderation and can help you to drop more pounds quicker. Increasing water intake, eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, and retraining your eating habits can speed up the results as well. It is recommended that you take a multivitamin but it is not required.
If you are one of the many Americans that are wanting to shed a few pounds and inches or if even if you are obese and you health is at risk, you are indeed fortunate. Now there is a solution to the problem and it is safe, effective and affordable.
Want to find out more about HCG . They do a good job of breaking it down and letting you know how you can lose 1-2 pounds per day.
HCG For Men?

More and more men are turning to homeopathic HCG to lose weight. While many still see “dieting” as a largely female pass time the experts are aware of the fact that this particular belief is based on myth; now more than ever.
When it comes to general health issues relate to weight…men have more to fear than their female counterparts. Men typically lean towards the apple shape (more so than females) that is more susceptible to negative health risks than other types of weight gain/fat storage. There are many types of increased health risks directly associated with abdominal fat.
Obese white males carry an increased aged between twenty and thirty years of age can expect to experience a life expectancy that is 13 years shorter than it would be if they were at a healthy weight. African American men in the same age bracket that are at an obese level can expect their life expectancy to be shortened by 20 years. These drastic numbers are a result of the tendency for males to store fat around their belly.
Two major consequences are the increased risk for both heart disease and type 2 diabetes; both risks increase drastically as a result of abdominal fat. Stress can exacerbate the issue as well. It increases the production of cortisol which is a hormone many believe increases the storage of fat in the abdomen.
Stereotypes will continue to keep a foothold in the weight loss industry. People will continue to see it as a women’s industry. But that won’t keep men from dieting. Experts say that they create a consistent number of the people dieting at any time and that number will probably continue to grow.
Men who turn to the homeopathic HCG diet benefit from higher average weight loss results than their female counterparts on the diet. While all dieters benefit from the average 1 to 2 pounds of weight loss per day…men make up the higher end of the weight loss averages.

HCG Diet Atlanta: Lose Weight Fast

The HCG diet is being talked about all over. You might be a bit confused about what you have heard. There are hundreds of testimonials from people who have experienced great results from the diet. At the same time, there is a great deal of controversy concerning it. To find out the facts, it is best to speak to a HCG diet expert. But here is some basic information regarding this plan.
The HCG in the name of the diet refers to Human Chorio Gonadotropin. This is a human hormone, found in both men and women. Pregnant women have the highest levels of HCG. It has been used in infertility treatments as injections of the hormone help with ovulation in women as well as sperm elevation in men.
The way the HCG diet works is through a two-pronged approach. The first is to lower your calorie intake daily to 500 calories. This, by itself, will result in losing weight. But the body is sure to experience negative side effects such as hunger pains, nausea and headaches. The second prong of the approach, daily HCG injections, is meant to keep these side effects from happening.
The reason this method works is that HCG also has the function in the body of telling the hypothalamus when to release fat stores. Your body can then use this fat to supplement the calories that you are getting from your diet. This supplemental fuel allows your body to continue proper functioning. There are results from some studies that would indicate no difference between getting the HCG shot or not. This is one of the factors leading to controversy.
However, it is difficult to ignore the number of people who have claimed weight losses of 20 pounds and higher. While there still needs to be more testing to say that the diet is definitely safe for long-term, the opposite is true as well. No studies have yet proven that it is not safe. There is no question that research will continue as the diet gains in popularity.
The HCG diets offered today are often not the original one that spawned such controversies. These diets modify the plan to the individual client. For example, not everyone is put on exactly 500 calories. The result is a more balanced and sensible way to approach this diet that should help negate concern over potential side effects.
You may want to consult with a doctor before starting any diet plan. But, if you are interested in finding out more about the possibilities in your area, go talk to a HCG diet. With proper information, you can make up your own mind about beginning the diet.

I’m on the HCG Diet…Day 14

So Lisa and I are both really happy with the results we’re seeing through the use of the HCG diet renewal kit from HCG Diet Direct. (Lisa’s my dieting buddy if you haven’t been reading the past articles in the series). We’ve both lost a good amount of weight. And we’re pretty close when it comes to who has lost more…Lisa’s only behind a few pounds. That’s a very good thing for me because we’ve got a side bet going that I want to win!
Today I was volunteering in my son’s classroom and the PTA dropped off treats in “appreciation” of our service. They were humongous, iced sugar cookies. They looked so yummy. But I wouldn’t know if they were or not. Because I snuck mine into the desk of the first kid I walked by. Nice surprise for him, don’t you think?
That was the highlight of my dieting day. I’m so proud of myself; and rightly so! But it’s time to move on. Today I weighed in at one pound less than yesterday. I’m now at 159 pounds. Day 12 was one of my lowest HCG moments EVER so it’s not surprising that I only lost one pound even though on Day 13 I behaved very, very well.
Lisa says that the oral HCG stings a tiny bit when she takes it. I’ve never noticed that. I just thought I’d throw that in because it’s interesting. I took my HCG three times today as required and I also took my single dose of B-Total Sublingual. Gotta’ love that extra energy, right?
I had leftover chicken for lunch. I shredded it and put it on Melba Toasts with chopped tomatoes/onions. I really liked it. I had strawberries with it and I tried all day long to drink tons of water.
For dinner I decided that I needed to step away from chicken so I made steaks. It was a great night. Steak is my daughter’s favorite food. And my son really likes it as well. So we were all happy. They didn’t much like the asparagus that I paired with it and they got to have fresh french bread in comparison to my Melba Toasts. But we all liked the Mock Apple Cobbler that I put together afterwards.

Eating While on the Very Low Calorie HCG Diet
August 17, 2009 by Amelia Handley

The HCG Diet is, hands down, the most effective weight loss tool currently available. It consists of limited number of calories per day; very limited. It is classified as a very low calorie diet (VLCD) at 500 calories per 24 hours in combination with the intake of homeopathic HCG (a natural substance that makes functioning on very limited calories possible).
For some…this is all they hear and they run away from the opportunity. What they don’t wait around to find out is that the other major “number” attached to the HCG diet is the statistic that dieters lose an average of a pound per day. For dieters who hear the numbers and immediately want to give up before they’ve started we think the best persuasion is to actually offer them a meal that is approved on the HCG diet program.
The cookbook HCG Diet Direct makes available to all their dieters is packed full of recipes that you can have while you are sticking to the strict caloric intake on the program. It offers a varied selection so all tastes of different dieters can be met. After dieters try a few recipes and start to find a few that they really enjoy and that are easy to work into their day to day routine they realize just how much easier it is to stay on the limited calorie intake with meals that you enjoy eating.
Johnny W. of Mesa said, “I actually refused to do the diet. I wasn’t going to limit myself to the necessary 500 calories. But my wife did it and I found myself eating the same meals she was having and…it was good. Needless to say…I changed my mind and after doing the program I’m 43 pounds lighter.”
Larry B. of Chandler said, “Whenever I make the chili I have to make sure to double the recipe because my wife and my teenage son want some, too. So if I want to be able to package up the leftovers in single servings to take to work throughout the week…I’ve got to make extra!”
The HCG Diet Direct Cookbook is a popular feature of the HCG diet as available through HCG Diet Direct. The cookbook is in no way necessary for the diet to work, but it sure does make eating while on the HCG diet more fun and enjoyable!
